Gregory Gardens has always been a place where students are able to be themselves, learn and grow. The school was designed with the student in mind. They offer clear guidance for both college readiness or job preparedness skills they can use as soon as graduation day arrives; teaching from teachers who genuinely care about their success; and support that enables them to feel safe and ready at all times within an orderly learning environment while meeting district, state, community needs-all of which work together to foster respect among peers without judgment based on social status or appearance. Effective and beneficial for students because they get to have the following:

  • A transformative learning environment that encourages growth

  • Individualized attention from caring staff and teachers

  • Access to resources, opportunities for students of all backgrounds, and goals

  • 75% of graduates go on to pursue higher education

  • Students are given clear guidelines for success and social support

  • Thriving school with strong partnerships

  • Dedicated teachers focused on student success

  • Culture of respect and understanding

Gregory Gardens employs a team of experts to help kids who are having academic or social difficulties. Once a week, the principal, school counselor, school psychologist, and resource specialist meet for an hour-long session where they discuss student needs in detail before deciding on appropriate next steps which might include peer tutoring sessions after school. These professionals contribute so much to the academic and emotional growth of students because:

  • They'll get to work with a dedicated group of professionals

  • They promote growth and success in all aspects of life for kids

  • They have peace of mind that students are receiving the help they need

Parent volunteers have a huge role to play when it comes to ensuring that our children get an excellent education. From helping them academically during class hours or even just playing games in between classes as well as being there for moral support outside after-school activities like music lessons; these parents know how important they can be not only for the student but also other kids around who may need help themselves. Parent volunteers have the privilege of:

  • Allowing themselves to become a mentor

  • Encouraging children's self-esteem and build confidence

  • Providing moral support for school work

  • Having fun while volunteering with other parents
