A family museum and wildlife rehabilitation facility in Walnut Creek, California is called Lindsay Wildlife Experience, formerly known as Lindsay Wildlife Museum. In the San Francisco East Bay Area, Lindsay is a well-liked family museum and the country's first wildlife hospital. The museum, which was established in Walnut Creek in 1955, has a number of California animal exhibits, natural history artifacts, and a special theater that provides a glimpse into one of the hospital's many wildlife treatment rooms. More than 5,000 injured, sickly, orphaned wild animals are treated annually at the rehabilitation facility, which is still one of the biggest in the country.

Carondelet High School is a Catholic all-girls private high school in Concord, California. The Sisters of Saint Joseph opened Carondelet High School in 1965. There are about 800 students at the institution. It combines significant resources with the all-boys De La Salle High School, which is located across a side street from it. The Christian Brothers started De La Salle High School. Four out of the six class periods at the other school are open to juniors and seniors; language and art classes are also open to them as lowerclassmen. The institution is situated in the Oakland Diocese.

4. Don Fernando Pacheco Adobe (California Historical Landmark No. 455), 3119 Grant Street, Concord, California 94520, United States

 

The Don Fernando Pacheco Adobe is located near Hillcrest Park on Grant Street and Olivera Road, adjacent to the 26-acre Hillcrest Park. The Adobe has been designated by the National Register of Historic Places and the California State Parks Office of Historic Preservation. The City acquired the Don Fernando Pacheco Adobe from Contra Costa County in 1979. Since then, it has been leased to the Contra Costa Horsemen's Association. When their lease expired in October 2019, it provided an opportunity for a long-term revitalization project at a city treasure.
