Paso Nogal Park (PNN) is a hidden gem located in the heart, Pleasant Hill. It offers its visitors an experience unlike anything they may be used to, as well as access to some unique and tasty treats. For those who have never heard of it, Paso Nogal Park was built on a former garbage dump between 1995-1996 after years of activism from the community.

There are two play areas for children: one has slides, swings, monkey bars, and other things designed for younger kids while the other area has more challenges like rock climbing paths that are appropriate for older children. Along with these play areas, there is also a tennis court and two multi-purpose fields where soccer games happen regularly in the afternoons.

Paso Nogal Park is a huge expanse of green open space. It's perfect for taking a stroll, throwing the ball with your dog, or just sitting in the sun and reading a book. The park has been designated as an "environmentally sensitive area" because it features natural wetlands that are home to a variety of wildlife including turtles, snakes, and birds. There are also benches located near scenic areas so you can sit down and enjoy the view.

Paso Nogal Park is a great place to spend the day with your family. It has a lot of fun activities for kids and adults alike, including a playground with a jungle gym, an interactive fountain with water jets, and picnic tables in case you want to pack lunch. There are also plenty of shady trees if you need some shade from the sun.

It's a gorgeous park. There are beautiful Oak trees, hiking, benches throughout the open space, they’re great for enjoying the beautiful view or watching the sunset, or waiting for your dog to come back from the dog park. Large park with separate spaces for large and small dogs. Owners are usually good about watching their dogs. Great hiking trails behind the park as well.
