Las Juntas Open Space

However, you’ll truly appreciate the beautiful sign of Las Juntas Open Space, painted on a wooden material. It seems that you’re going to enter a farm or the countryside. 
 

 Just a bit of land next to the canal that no one has built on. Small with no amenities but nice. There are a couple of picnic tables and fire pits. There is a nice bench that gives you a great view of Mount Diablo. It's a great place to stop during a walk at night.
 

In all, a lovely tiny park with a bench. It's not intended to stop and spend some time there, but it's fantastic scenery and an excellent place to take photographs of Mt. Diablo along the Contra Costa canal walkway.
 

Las Juntas Trail is about two hours long and not too difficult at all - great for any age or skill level that can take their dog on a leash with them while they explore the park's amazing wildlife. 
 

Las Juntas Open Space has several amenities for visitors to enjoy. The site features an outdoor amphitheater, hiking trails, and picnic areas. Visitors can also purchase snacks and drinks at the concession stand or bring their food to cook on one of the free grills available throughout the park.
 

Las Juntas Open Space is great for people who want to get their feet wet with hiking, but it's also good for experienced hikers because many different trails offer different levels of difficulty from easy to difficult.
 

It offers visitors a quiet, natural retreat from the outside world. The park has views of the hills or mountains that surround it and includes amenities such as picnic tables, benches, grills, barbecues, and trails for walking pets. There are also restrooms with water fountains on-site for guests to enjoy during their visit.
